Sector: Law firms

    AI for Swiss law firms

Legal work runs on documents, deadlines, and privilege. We build AI systems that remove the mechanical layer of the practice, without client information leaving Switzerland and without touching the professional judgment that only an attorney can exercise.

    Three workflows worth automating first

    Contract and pleading review

The system reads contracts, briefs, and filings, extracts parties, clauses, dates, and monetary amounts, and flags anomalies against your firm's standard positions. Attorneys open the file already knowing where to look.

    Private legal research assistant

A retrieval system trained on your internal memos, precedents, and dossiers, with connectors to Swiss case law sources. Every answer cites its source; nothing is fabricated. Junior associates find in minutes what used to take an afternoon.

    Client intake and email triage

Incoming matters are classified by area, routed to the right partner, and pre-checked for the obvious conflict signals before the file is opened. Draft acknowledgments are prepared, ready for attorney review.

    Privilege and confidentiality by design

Every system is built around attorney-client privilege: data residency in Switzerland or the EU, on-premise option, role-based least-privilege access, full audit trail on every request. Compliance with nFADP, the Swiss Bar Association guidelines, and GDPR is engineered in from the start.

    What we do not do

We do not send matter files to public AI tools. We do not generate legal advice or filings that bypass attorney review. We do not resell generic legal-tech under a private label. We build specific, auditable automations that stay under the firm's control.

    How an engagement runs

It starts with a fixed-price discovery: we analyse one workflow in the firm, the volumes, and the systems already in use, and deliver a written assessment with a go or no-go recommendation. Then a focused MVP in 6 to 8 weeks, structured validation with the attorneys who will use it, and production rollout with ongoing support.

    Frequently asked questions

    Is attorney-client privilege preserved?

Yes. Systems run on Swiss or EU infrastructure, or on your own servers. For firms with strict requirements, on-premise deployment is available: matter data never leaves your network, and no third party has access.

Does it work with our practice management software?

We integrate with what the firm already runs: Actionstep, Clio, WinJur, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and document management systems on request. Integration is part of the project scope, not an add-on.

    Will it replace junior associates?

No. It removes the mechanical portion of their work (extraction, first-pass review, boilerplate drafting) so their billable time goes to substantive analysis. Firms typically see the same headcount handle more matters, not fewer people.

How long until the first result?

Discovery closes in one to two weeks. A first system typically reaches production in 6 to 8 weeks from the start.

Can it draft filings or give legal advice?

It prepares drafts, extracts, and structured summaries. Every output is presented for attorney review before it leaves the firm. Legal advice and filed pleadings remain the exclusive responsibility of the qualified attorney on the matter.
