    LoosData is a boutique AI engineering studio based in Lugano, Switzerland. We design and implement AI systems (workflow automation, AI assistants, and data infrastructure) for businesses. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you interact with our website, chatbot, and services.

    2. What Data We Collect

    Contact information: Name, email address, and company name, only when you voluntarily provide them via our chatbot or contact form.

    Chat conversations: Messages you send through our AI chatbot are stored to improve the conversation experience and for follow-up purposes.

    Basic analytics: We collect anonymised usage data (page views, referral source) to understand how visitors use our website. We do not use invasive tracking or third-party advertising cookies.

    3. How We Use Your Data

    We use your data exclusively to:

    • Respond to your inquiries and follow up on project discussions
    • Provide and improve our AI chatbot experience
    • Understand website usage to improve our content

    We never sell your data to third parties, and we never use your data for advertising purposes.

    4. AI Chatbot & Data Processing

    Our chatbot uses large language models (LLMs) to generate responses. Your messages are sent to our AI provider for processing. We do not use your conversations to train AI models. Chat data is stored securely and used only for the purpose of the conversation and potential business follow-up.

    5. Data Storage & Security

    Your data is stored on servers located in Europe. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to personal data is limited to authorised LoosData personnel only. We retain contact data and chat logs for a maximum of 24 months after your last interaction, unless a longer retention is required for an active project.

    6. Your Rights

    Under Swiss data protection law (nDSG) and the GDPR (where applicable), you have the right to:

    • Access the personal data we hold about you
    • Request correction or deletion of your data
    • Object to or restrict processing of your data
    • Request a portable copy of your data
